When you create an account, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name and profile picture. When you use Luku, we store the books you add, reading sessions, progress, ratings, reviews, and settings you configure.
Your data is used solely to provide the Luku service to you. We use your email for authentication, password resets, and important account notifications. Your book and reading data is used to display your library, calculate statistics, and track your reading progress.
We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal data in any way.

Luku uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We also store your timezone in a cookie to display dates and times correctly. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the account settings page, which permanently removes all your data including books, reading sessions, and personal information.
You have the right to export all your data at any time. A full data export feature is available in settings, providing your complete book library, reading sessions, and all associated data in standard formats.
